Refund & Billing Policy

This Billing and Refund Policy covers payment terms and refund conditions for all transactions on Regalo — including braider subscriptions, product purchases from our store, workspace rentals, and client service bookings.

Braider Subscription Billing

Regalo offers flexible subscription plans for braiders to list their services on the platform:

  • Monthly billing — charged on the same day each month
  • Quarterly billing — charged every 3 months
  • Yearly billing — charged once per year at a discounted rate
  • All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before renewal date

Service Booking Payments

Clients pay for braiding services through the Regalo platform at the time of booking confirmation. Funds are held securely and released to the braider after the service is marked as completed. In the event of a dispute, funds may be held pending resolution by the Regalo admin team.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Braider cancellation of a confirmed booking — full client refund issued automatically
  • Braider no-show — client is eligible for a full refund after admin review
  • Damaged or incorrect product received from the Regalo store
  • Duplicate or erroneous payment charges
  • Platform-side technical failure preventing service delivery
  • Braider subscription within the first 7 days if the account has not been activated

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Completed braiding service appointments
  • Client-initiated cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time
  • Subscription renewals after the 7-day new-account window
  • Workspace rental fees once the rental period has commenced
  • Accounts suspended for policy violations

Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Contact our billing team at billing@regalo.ng or raise a dispute via the platform
  2. Provide your order or booking ID and a brief reason for the request
  3. Allow 3–5 business days for our team to review the request
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method

Cancellation Policy

Braiders may cancel their subscription at any time from account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Clients may cancel bookings free of charge if done more than 24 hours before the appointment; late cancellations may be subject to a partial charge at the braider's discretion.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept debit cards, credit cards, and bank transfers. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment partners. Regalo never stores your full card details on its servers.
