Copyright Policy

Platform Content Ownership

All elements of the Regalo platform — including branding, design, interface, logos, and proprietary code — are the intellectual property of Regalo. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any platform assets is strictly prohibited.

Braider Content

Braiders retain ownership of the photos, portfolio images, and written content they upload to their profiles. By uploading content, you grant Regalo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, resize, and promote that content on the platform and in marketing materials. When uploading content, braiders must ensure they:

• Own the rights to all images and text uploaded
• Have obtained consent from any client shown in portfolio photos
• Do not upload photos that contain watermarks or branding of competitors
• Not use AI-generated images to misrepresent their actual work

Product Images and Vendor Content

Product images and descriptions in the Regalo store must be original or properly licensed. Vendors may not use manufacturer or competitor images without explicit written permission from the rights holder. Product content must accurately represent the item being sold.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on Regalo without your permission, contact us at copyright@regalo.ng with the following:

• Your full name and contact details
• A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
• The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content on Regalo
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised
• A statement that the information you have provided is accurate, under penalty of perjury

Repeat Infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright will be suspended or permanently removed from the platform. Regalo maintains records of all copyright notices and acts in accordance with applicable law.

Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed from your account in error, you may submit a counter-notification to copyright@regalo.ng. Counter-notifications must include your contact details, a description of the removed content, and a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake or misidentification. We will review and respond within 10 business days.
