Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Regalo platform — including booking hair and beauty services, purchasing products from our store, listing services as a braider, and renting workspace corners. By accessing or using Regalo, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Account Registration
To use Regalo, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
- Keeping your contact and profile information up to date
Client Responsibilities
As a client on Regalo, you agree to:
- Honour confirmed bookings and provide reasonable notice for cancellations
- Treat braiders with respect and professionalism
- Provide accurate information when making bookings
- Pay for all services and products at the agreed price
- Submit disputes through the proper platform channels, not directly confronting braiders
Braider Responsibilities
As a braider listed on Regalo, you agree to:
- Provide services as described in your listings — accurately and to a professional standard
- Honour all confirmed appointments and communicate delays promptly
- Not charge clients more than the agreed or listed price
- Maintain your active subscription to continue listing services
- Respond to dispute notices from the platform in a timely manner
Subscriptions and Payments
Braider subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your selected plan
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Provide accurate billing details
- Raise billing disputes within 30 days of charge
Intellectual Property
All platform design, code, and proprietary features are owned by Regalo. Braiders retain ownership of their profile content (photos, descriptions), but grant Regalo a licence to display and promote that content on the platform. Unauthorised reproduction or commercial use of Regalo's brand assets is prohibited.
Limitation of Liability
Regalo acts as a marketplace and is not liable for the quality of services provided by braiders or products from third-party vendors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, accumulate unresolved disputes, or otherwise harm our community. You may close your account at any time by contacting legal@regalo.ng.
